I'm all giddy now. Here's why.

I didn't get to see Matt very much this week since he had to work an extra day. It sounds so silly considering what a short time it was, but I missed him. He missed me too apparently, because just as I was finishing today's chemistry reading, I got a text message that said "Look outside". I rushed to the window excitedly to see him getting out of his car.

He took me out for some Wendy's and it was awesome.

Also, today my Chemistry teacher asked me if I was in the correct class. She said it seemed too easy for me, as if I already knew all the stuff. I've never taken Chemistry before, so that was awesome to hear.

I ordered some tokidoki phone charms off of ebay a while ago, and they finally arrived. I love them so much, they're so cute! The two blue ones are new, and the other two are from the summer.


The other day, I was killing some time before meeting my friend so I went shopping. I hadn't intended to buy anything, but there were such great sales on that I couldn't resist.

I'm eating sponge cake. It's like my favourite thing right now. SO GOOD.

This wasn't a Christmas present, and it's not Christmas related so it gets it's own post. The presents I got for my brother and dad were T-shirts off of threadless. When I ordered theirs back in November, I saw this one of the chesire cat and I just had to have it. It has UV ink which is supposed to make it's body appear in sunlight, but it doesn't really work. I'm kind of glad though, because I prefer it as is. The face glows in the dark too :D

Matt had never been to ikea before, so we went! I wish we took some more photos though... less blurry ones xD

I was tagged by Lindsey to go to my first photo folder, post the 10th picture and then tell the story behind it.



This is a picture of my grandparents house in England. I was going through some really tough times while I was there, and I was trying very hard to believe that everything would work out okay in the end. They had a bbq for us, but my one-year old cousin was getting antsy so my mom and I took her for a walk to calm her down. The whole area is very beautiful, but when I saw this scene, for a moment I felt at peace. It reminded me that while life definitely has it's uglier moments, the world can be a very beautiful place. There are always ups and downs.

Their house is one of my favourite houses in the world. It has two yards, the first of which is shown in this picture. The other yard is more of a garden, with lots of pretty plants, and a patio area where we had the bbq. Behind where I was standing when I took this, there is a huge willow tree and a little pond. Directly to the left of where I was standing, there is a cabin which they rent out to someone. I can't even describe what it's like inside the house. I think it has only two floors. There are all these little staircases in each room which lead up to various bedroom suites, each with it's own bathroom. This is random, but all of the bathrooms are amazing! Like what you'd see as the final product in one of those home improvement magazines or something. Yeah....I pretty much adore this house.
